In this guide, we will show you how to set up your email account on Microsoft Outlook for PC and Mac. We opt for the configuration of the e-mail account in IMAP, with SSL. You can configure it in another way by using the settings listed on this article: What is the difference between IMAP and POP?

Set up an e-mail account on Microsoft Outlook 365 for PC
- Open Outlook, then Select File.
- Select Info > Add Account.
- On the next window, enter your email address, then check Let me set up my account manually.
- On the window Advanced detup select IMAP.
- On the IMAP Account Settings... window, you will be prompted to provide the essential information for your email account. Click Next
Incoming mail
- Server : Enter mail.domain.com *
- Port : 993
- Encryption method : Select SSL/TLS
Outgoing mail- Server : Enter mail.domain.com *
- Port : 465
- Encryption method : Select SSL/TLS
- On the next window Enter the password, then click Connect.
- Click Done to Save.
Set up an e-mail account on Microsoft Outlook 2016 for PC
- Open Outlook, then Select File.
- Select Info > Add Account.
- On the next window Welcome to Outlook, enter your e-mail address, then check Let me set up my account manually.
- On the window Choose account type select IMAP.
- On the IMAP Account Settings... window, you will be prompted to provide the essential information for your email account. Click Next
Incoming mail
- Server : Enter mail.domain.com *
- Port : 993
- Encryption method : Select SSL/TLS
Outgoing mail- Server : Enter mail.domain.com *
- Port : 465
- Encryption method : Select SSL/TLS
- On the next window Enter the password, then click Connect.
- Click OK to Save.
Set up an e-mail account on Microsoft Outlook 2013 for PC
- Open Outlook, then Select File > Info > Add Account.
- On the next window, select Manual setup or additional server types and click Next.
- Choose POP or IMAP, then click Next.
- On this window, you will be prompted to provide the essential information for your email account:
- Your Name: Enter your name
- Email Address: Enter your e-mail address
- Account type: Select IMAP
- Incoming Mail Server: Enter mail.domain.com *
- Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): Enter mail.domain.com *
- User Name: Enter your e-mail address
- Password: Enter your password
* Replace 'domain.com' with your domain name.
- Click More Settings > Outgoing Server.
- Check the box My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication, then check Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
- Check the box My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication, then check Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
- Click More Settings > Advanced.
- For Incoming mail (IMAP): type port 993 (select SSL).
- For Outgoing mail (SMTP): type port 465 (select SSL).
- Click OK to Save, then click Next.
- If you’ve entered everything correctly, both tasks will be completed successfully, click Close and Finish.
Set up an e-mail account on Microsoft Outlook 2010 for PC
- Open Outlook, then Select File.
- Select Info > Add Account.
- On the next window Add New Account, select Manually configure server settings or additional server types and click Next.
- Choose Internet E-mail, then click Next.
- On this window, you will be prompted to provide the essential information for your email account.
- Your Name : Enter your name
- E-mail Address : Enter your e-mail address
- Account type : Select IMAP
- Incoming Mail Server (IMAP) : Enter mail.domain.com*
- Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) : Enter mail.domain.com *
- User Name : Enter your e-mail address, again
- Password : Enter your password
* Replace 'domain.com' with your domain name.
- Click More Settings > Outgoing Server.
- Check the box My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication, then check Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
- Check the box My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication, then check Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
- Click More Settings > Advanced.
- For Incoming mail (IMAP): type port 993 (select SSL).
- For Outgoing mail (SMTP): type port 465 (select SSL).
- Click OK to Save, then click Next. If you’ve entered everything in correctly, both tasks will be completed successfully, click Close.
- Finally, click Finish.
Set up an e-mail account on Microsoft Outlook 2007 for PC
- Open Outlook, then Select Tools > Account Settings....
- On the Account Settings window, select Email tab and click New.
- On the next window Add New E-mail Account, select Manually configure server settings or additional server types and click Next.
- Choose Internet E-mail, then click Next.
- On this window, you will be prompted to provide information related to your e-mail account.
- Your Name : Enter your name
- E-mail Address : Enter your e-mail address
- Account type : Select IMAP
- Incoming Mail Server (IMAP) : Enter mail.domain.com *
- Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) : Enter mail.domain.com *
- User Name : Enter your e-mail address
- Password : Enter your password

- Click More Settings > Outgoing Server.
- Check the box My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication, then check Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
- Click More Settings > Advanced.

Set up an e-mail account on Microsoft Outlook 2003 for PC
- Open Outlook, then Select Tools > E-mail Accounts....
- On the E-mail Accounts window, select Add a new e-mail account and click Next.
- On the Server Type window , select IMAP, then click Next.
- On the next window, you will be prompted to provide information related to your e-mail account.
- Your Name : Enter your name
- E-mail Address : Enter your e-mail address
- User Name : Enter your e-mail address, again
- Password : Enter your password
- Incoming Mail Server (IMAP) : Enter mail.domain.com *
- Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) : Enter mail.domain.com *
* Replace 'domain.com' with your domain name.
- Click More Settings > Outgoing Server.
- Check the box My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication, then check Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
- Click More Settings > Advanced.
- For Incoming mail (IMAP), check This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL) and enter port 993.
- For Outgoing mail (SMTP), check This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL) and enter port 465.
- Click OK to Save, then click Next.
- Finally, click Finish.
Set up an e-mail account on Microsoft Outlook 2016 for Mac
- Open Outlook, then click Tools > Accounts.
- On the window Accounts, click Add Email Account.
- On the window Set Up Your Email, enter your e-mail address then click Continue.
- Select IMAP/POP.
- On the next window, Enter the essential information for your email account.
- Type : Select IMAP
- Email Address : Enter your e-mail address (example@domain.com *)
- Username : Enter your e-mail address
- Password : Enter your password
- Incoming server : Enter mail.domain.com *
- Port : 993
- Check the box Use SSL to connect
- Outgoing server : Enter mail.domain.com *
- Port : 465
- Check the box Use SSL to connect

- Click Add Account, then click Done to finish.
Set up an e-mail account on Microsoft Outlook 2011 for Mac
- Open Outlook, then click Tools > Accounts.
- On the window Accounts, click Other E-mail.
- Enter your e-mail address and password, then click Add Account.
- On the next window, Enter the information related to your e-mail account and click Add Account to finish.
- User name : Enter your e-mail address
- Type : Select IMAP
- Incoming server : Enter mail.domain.com *
- Port : 993
- Check the box Use SSL to connect
- Outgoing server : Enter mail.domain.com *
- Port : 465
- Check the box Use SSL to connect
* Replace 'domain.com' with your domain name and 'example@domain.com' with your e-mail address.

Launch Outlook app on iPhone

Enter account information including email address and password
- Email address: Enter your email address (example@domain.com1)
- Display Name: Enter the display name for your email address
- Description: Enter a description for your email account
- IMAP incoming mail server
- IMAP hostname: Fill in the server hostname with mail.domain.com2
- IMAP Port: Enter port 993
- Port Security: Select SSL
- IMAP username: Enter your email address (example@domain.com1)
- IMAP password: Enter the password for your email address
- IMAP hostname: Fill in the server hostname with mail.domain.com2

- SMTP hostname: Fill in the server hostname with mail.domain.com2
