The Calendar Delegation option allows you to delegate access rights of the owner of a calendar to other users.
Note that you can only assign calendar rights when your cPanel account has more than one email account.
To delegate a calendar, perform the steps below:
1- Log in to your cPanel account
2- Go to E-mail > Calendar Delegation
3- Fill in the fields and click on Create:
- Select Calendar Owner: The owner of the calendar.
- Select delegate: The user for which the owner grants calendar rights to.
- Allow Editing: The delegate's access rights granted from the owner (read/write if allowed or read-only if not).
To view the Delegated Calendar in Roundcube, follow the steps below:

Get the owner’s calendar URL
1- Log in to the calendar owner’s cPanel Webmail Home page and Click Configure Calendar and Contacts Client
2- Scroll to Secure SSL/TLS URLs and copy the URL of the Calendar item from the table

Add the owner’s calendar to the delegate’s Roundcube calendar
1- Log in to the calendar delegate’s webmail account, open Roundcube interface and click Calendar on the left menu
2- Click on icon and choose Add Calendar
3- Fill in the fields:
- Name: Calendar name
- CalDAV URL: The calendar owner’s calendar URL that you copied in step two in the Get the owner’s calendar URL part
- Color: Adjust the calendar color
- Username: The email address of the calendar delegate's user.
- Password: The password of the email address.
4- Click on Save.
The calendar owner’s calendar will be automatically uploaded on the Roundcube interface of the calendar delegate’s webmail account with all the events of the week.
