Updating your site or mishandling your account may cause the account to stop working properly. For these reasons, it is recommended to regularly back up your data (website, databases, emails ...).
These backups will allow you to quickly restore your data. You can download a full backup of your data as well as a partial backup.

How to download a backup copy?
Follow the instructions below to create a partial or complete backup of your website using the cPanel Backup Wizard :
1. Log in to your cPanel account, in the FILES section, click on Backup Wizard.
2. Click on Back Up.
3. Choose a Partial Backup or a Full Backup.
3.1 Full backup to migrate the content of your hosting plan to another web host or to keep a full copy (all files, emails and databases) of your hosting account on your computer.
• To download a full backup, click on Full Backup.
• In "Generate a Full Backup", select the destination of the backup, enter your email address to receive a notification when the backup is ready for download, and then click on "Generate Backup".
• Once the backup is generated, it is available for download under "Backups Available for Download".
3.2. Partial backup allows you to select which partial backup you want to download: Home Directory (website files, email addresses, and messages), MySQL databases or email redirects and filters.
3.2.1. To download a backup copy of the home directory, click Home Directory in Select Partial Backup.
• Then click on "Home Directory" to download the backup copy that contains your data.
3.2.2. To download MySQL databases, click on "MySQL Databases".
• Then click on the name of the MySQL database you want to download.
3.2.3. To download email forwarders and email filters, click on Email Forwarders & Filters.
• Then click on the email forwarder or email filter you want to download.
How to restore a backup copy?
1. Log in to your cPanel account, in the FILES section, click on Backup Wizard.
2. To recover your data, click on Restore.
3. Choose the data you want to recover by clicking on the appropriate button.
4. Choose the backup file you already downloaded, and click on Upload.
Wait for the data to be uploaded and here you were able to restore your backup.
