What is the Greylisting ?
Greylisting is a spam-fighting method that temporarily rejects an email message by issuing a temporary denial to the sending email server. If a message arrives from an address or domain on the list, it will be queued and delivered to the recipient only if the sender attempts to resend the message within a certain period of time. Once a sender has been recognized as legitimate, their address is removed from the list and future messages from that address can pass through the filter unimpeded.
To enable or disable the greylisting option, log into your cPanel account:
- Go to EMAIL and click on Configure Greylisting
- The option is enabled by default, Click on "Off" to disable it
By disabling this option, you might receive a lot of junk mail (spam).
