- Log in to cPanel
- In the "DATABASES" section, click on "Remote MySQL®".
- On the "Host" field, you have the option of adding a domain name or IPv4 address of the remote machine. The "Comment" field is optional, you can add a description to identify the remote host.
You can add a wildcard character (%) to allow multiple IP addresses to access the database; for example, 123.456.%. When using a wildcard, be sure to limit the scope to addresses under your control or that you are sure they pose no security risk.
- Then click on Add Host.
