Access to Plesk allows you to perform all actions authorized on your hosting account. You also have the option to create additional user accounts.
However, before adding a user, you must first create a role. Each role includes a set of permissions that will be assigned to the respective users. Here’s how to proceed:
Creating a Role in Plesk
- Log in to the Plesk admin interface using your credentials.
-
Go to "Utilisateurs" > "Rôle de l'utilisateur".
-
Click on "Créer un rôle d'utilisateur".
-
Define the permissions for the "rôle" (access to files, databases, etc.), then click "OK" to save the role.
Creating a User in Plesk
-
Go to "Comptes utilisateur".
-
Click on "Créer un compte utilisateur".
-
Fill in the user information (name, password, email), select the "rôle" created for this user, and then click "OK" to save the user.
The functions available to the new user are determined by the user role you create, configure, and assign to them.
